We offer full range of language translation, interpretation, transcription and localization services in more than 140 languages. We have a worldwide network of native speaker translators, bilingual interpreters and localization experts. From time to time, we register new members to our network. At present we are registering interpreters to our network. Before filling up the interpreter registration form, please read about our initial assessment process.

We follow well defined screening process and rigorous initial assessment process, before registering the new interpreters. Screening process is about checking the credentials and background. Initial application for the interpreter registration requires following documents: Current resume, cover letter and two references either of previous employers or from the people whom you have provided interpreting services. Evidence of prior education and training is also required. Based on these documents, we shortlist a number of candidates for the personal interview or telephonic interview. During the interview, a candidate is judged for his attitude, communication skills and spontaneity. If a candidate passes this initial screening, he is assessed for his interpreting skills.

We have a defined a comprehensive initial assessment process for interpreter registration. Initial assessment for interpreting skills comprises of basic language skills, cultural awareness, ethical approach and integrated interpreting skills. First of all a candidate is assessed for the fluency and proficiency in the languages he has opted for. An interpreter should be proficient in source language as well as target language. Cultural awareness is also equally essential to interpret in context and without offending any culture. We strictly judge a candidate for his awareness about various culture issues. Ethical code of conduct is equally important to become a successful interpreter. We judge a candidate by observing his response to a hypothetical scenario involving ethical choices. At the end of the assessment process, we give an actual interpreting exercise to the candidate and judge him for his interpreting skills.

We declare a candidate eligible for the interpreter registration, only if he passes through all the processes described above. Once an interpreter has joined our network, he has to go through periodic performance assessment process. His job performance and professional standards are assessed from time to time.
